Lucas Milhaupt Sil-Fos 15 is a high-performance, silver-bearing brazing alloy designed primarily for joining copper to copper and other copper-base alloys in the HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration) industries. It is the most ductile filler metal in the Sil-Fos family, making it ideal for joints subject to vibration or thermal stress.
Harris part number 5620F1. Phos/copper alloys are used to braze copper-to-copper and copper-to-brass. The phosphorus content in these alloys makes them self-fluxing on copper. When brazing brass or copper to brass, use Stay-Silv® white brazing flux.
