Antique Wood Letterpress Letter M Type Print Block – 2.5′ x 2″
Typeface Style. End-Grain Wood: Most of these were made fromhard rock maple. The wood was cut across the grain (end-grain) to make it incredibly durable so it wouldn’t compress under the heavy pressure of a printing press.
VTG Lot Letter Press Block Stamp Ink Print Type Advertising Wood Copper 2002-23B
Nice vintage lot of 48 letter press, advertising, ink stamp blocks. The lot consist of a mix of different styles and sizes. They are made of wood, metal and copper. Cool advertising from odd fellows Towing, Bear wheel alignment, G & E, Volvo Cars, JAWS, and some faces and architecture along with some random advertising press blocks. They will need a detailed cleaning as we only gave them a wipe down. Great for arts & crafts projects for kids. Overall, in good condition. Please look over photos and ask questions when needed thanks. Lot consists of (48) random size: 3/4″ x 3/4″, 1 1/2″ x 3″, 2″ x 3″, 3″ x 4 1/2″
