Tapered plugs will always roll in a curve towards the narrow end Tap plugs into hole until tight/snug, with or without a drop of wood glue. Trim off excess with flush saw, sharp chisel, or sand flush with palm or belt sanderIt is recommended that you have plugs in hand to test fit before drilling all holes in project.
