This set has been used???. Obviously, not very much. I am calling it used because honestly, I just don’t know if it has been used or not. Everything will work perfectly for you! The original wooden protective case and the red cardboard protective box have done a very good job of protecting these tools.

Casting mark: ATHOL MFG CO — ATHOL MASS — MADE IN USA. That puts it roughly in the 1915–1940s production window. If it had “Starrett” cast in addition, it would be later. Yours is closer to pre- or early-Starrett era, which is more desirable to collectors.
