Exact item shown, WR42 vane type attenuator, rotating the wheel raises and lowers the vane adjusting the attenuation, when you have it where you want it, tightening the lock screw locks it into position.
Here is a Ka band(26-40 GHz), WR-28 waveguide, standard flange, variable waveguide attenuator, made by Waveline, model 1022, 0-60 dB. Works fine, shows its age but nicely made and in good shape. Intersting that Waveline made it go 10 dB more (60 dB) than HP( only 50 dB).
